Bainbridge Emergency Auxiliary Radio Service (BEARS)

Have you signed up to join the Bainbridge Emergency Auxiliary Radio Service (BEARS)? It is the best way to be sure you’ll get emails about their trainings and activities and helps you to become part of the Bainbridge Island emergency radio community.

Here is a link to the Bainbridge Emergency Management Volunteer application form. Be sure to include your call sign on page 3, and check the “Ham Radio Operator” box on page 4.

Email the completed form to Bainbridge Island Emergency Management Coordinator, Anne LeSage (alesage@bainbridgewa.gov).

If you are already a registered emergency worker, you can just send an email to Anne LeSage telling her you would like to join BEARS and giving her your call sign.

Bainbridge Emergency Auxiliary Radio Service (BEARS) is the designated communications reserve of Bainbridge Island Emergency Management.
